The National Plastics Center Museum is dedicated to the preservation of the plastic industry's storied history and to increasing public awareness of current contributions to modern life and culture. Its main attraction is a comprehensive museum, which features an array of artifacts that have been made of synthetic and natural plastics, including horn and ivory, and Bakelite, to form such items as Tupperware, early kids' toys and jewelry. The Museum also provides educational experiences, banquet and event facilities and numerous other amenities. The facility lies southeast of downtown, a mile from the Leominster State Forest.
Open Wed. - Thurs., 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Fri. 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Adults $5; Children (4-11) and Seniors (65+) $3; Children under 4 are free.
